What we collect
Final Verdict assigns each installation a random anonymous device identifier. This identifier is stored locally on your device and sent to our servers only when you request a new case or play a game. We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any personally identifiable information unless you choose to create an account.
If you create an optional account, we store your email address and link it to your game history.
We also collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data, such as device OS version and app version — solely to identify and fix technical problems. This data contains no personal information.
How we use it
Your device identifier is used to save your game history and win/loss statistics so your record persists across sessions. Account email addresses are used only for authentication we do not send marketing emails. Crash and diagnostic data is used solely to improve app stability.
Third-party services
Final Verdict uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase – database and authentication.
- Anthropic – AI language model for in-game dialogue. Game transcripts are processed to generate suspect responses and are not linked to any personal information. Under standard API usage, transcripts are not retained by Anthropic for AI model training.
- Sentry – crash reporting and diagnostics. Sentry may receive crash reports, device OS version, and app version to help us diagnose issues. No personal information is included in these reports.
04 Data retention
Anonymous game records are retained for up to 12 months. If you create an account, your data is retained until you request deletion. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the address below.
Tracking
We don’t track you.
Final Verdict does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), ad networks, or marketing pixels.
